Bartlett's Anthias are found in reef environments, strong reef currents and reef faces, drop off zones, and water channels 30 meters deep. They prefer water quality similar to reef environments. The Anthias genus are mainly planktivores and carnivores secondly.

Usually the same species can be housed in the same aquarium. Feeding aquarium animals may or may not eat the first day. Feed fish in increments until full. Complete water changes every week.
