In the gray phase, the fish will be gray with black markings. Arothron puffers do not have pectoral fins. These fish have a fused-teeth-beak that can shred through prey and smaller organisms in your aquarium. Perhaps it can be housed with similar puffers. Transfer puffers using a container.

Usually the same species can be housed in the same aquarium. Feeding aquarium animals may or may not eat the first day. Feed fish in increments until full. Complete water changes every week.
